Competitor Analysis — May 2026

Meta Business AI vs inTusell

Meta's native AI is an FAQ door — inTusell is the sales closing layer. See the 15-dimension difference, 3 real scenarios where we close sales, and our 2026 policy compliance — all here.

Meta Business AI

One-click activation inside Meta Business Suite. Answers FAQs, shares generic product info, asks qualifying questions. Hands off to a human when conversations get complex. No CRM, payment, or appointment management — pure messaging layer.

inTusell

Multi-channel (Meta + Telegram + Web + Voice) sales closing layer. Scores leads, generates payment links, books appointments, logs in CRM, schedules follow-ups. KVKK / GDPR compliant — your data in the EU (Frankfurt) region, isolated to your tenant. 14-day free trial.

They don't coexist — pick one

If both Meta Business AI and inTusell are active on the same channel, duplicate-reply conflicts occur. Before connecting inTusell, turn off Business AI in Meta Business Suite → Inbox → Automations. We walk you through it in onboarding.

3 real scenarios — who closes the sale?

Beyond the table: what the customer says → what each AI actually does.

IG boutique — sales question at 2 AM

Customer DMs on Instagram: "Do you have this dress in medium? I want to buy right now."
Meta Business AI

Meta Business AI: shares generic product info, says "Please wait for business hours." Customer waits until morning — likely buys elsewhere.

inTusell

inTusell: Confirms stock, asks shipping preference, collects size + address, generates iyzico payment link, records the order, schedules shipping notification. Sale closes overnight.

Clinic — appointment inquiry

Patient writes on WhatsApp: "Can I book a dental cleaning for next Thursday?"
Meta Business AI

Meta Business AI: "We'll get back to you during business hours." By the time staff sees it, 4 other patients are competing for the same slot.

inTusell

inTusell: Queries Google Calendar, offers Thursday 2 PM and 4:30 PM, patient picks one, books it, schedules reminders, logs the follow-up in CRM.

E-commerce — complaint escalation

Customer writes on Messenger: "Order arrived broken, I want a refund."
Meta Business AI

Meta Business AI: shares return-policy link, transfers manually. No ticket system, follow-up lost.

inTusell

inTusell: Recognizes complaint category, opens RMA ticket, generates shipping label, sends return code automatically, escalates to the right team, schedules post-sale follow-up.

Frequently asked

Top questions about conflicts, 2026 policy, and data ownership.

Why do I need inTusell if Meta Business AI exists?

Meta Business AI only answers questions — it's an FAQ door. inTusell drives the customer to close: it recommends products, qualifies, generates payment links, books appointments, and logs everything in CRM. You can keep both running; we recommend the "top-of-funnel Meta, closing inTusell" positioning.

Does the WhatsApp January 15, 2026 ban affect us?

Meta banned "general-purpose LLM chatbots" (ChatGPT-style open assistants) on WhatsApp Business Platform from 2026-01-15. inTusell falls under the **task-specific** exception: it only answers within the customer's business processes (sales, support, appointments, orders). Off-topic questions are rejected, the system prompt is locked, RAG is bounded to the customer's knowledge base. Our full compliance doc is included in App Review submissions.

Do I need to turn off Meta Business AI?

Yes, to prevent **duplicate-reply conflicts**. Otherwise both Meta AI and inTusell may reply to the same message; the conversation becomes inconsistent and your quota is wasted. Onboarding walks you through it: Meta Business Suite → Inbox → Automations → Business AI = OFF.

Where is my data stored?

All conversation, customer, and knowledge base data is stored in our EU (Frankfurt) Supabase project, in rows belonging to your tenant, isolated from other organizations by row-level security (RLS). Your data is not pushed back to Meta for advertising — only if you connect your own Meta pixel are purchase/appointment events reported to your own ad account, with phone and email cryptographically hashed (SHA-256). Full export is available anytime; on the Enterprise plan a KVKK / GDPR compliant data processing agreement (DPA) is signed.

Isn't Meta Business AI enough for FAQs alone?

If your model is purely "share hours and location," yes — Meta is enough. But for any SaaS, clinic, e-commerce, restaurant, or IG boutique, "don't lose the customer mid-funnel" is critical — that's where you need a closing layer.

Can I try inTusell without disconnecting my Meta account?
