An AI assistant tailored to your business, no preset needed
An AI sales assistant for a business that fits no preset sector: describe it in one sentence and get a suggested pipeline, customer word and custom fields.

In-home pet care, boat rental, wedding photography, a handmade soap workshop. All of these get customers from WhatsApp and Instagram, yet none of them fits neatly into a "clinic", "restaurant" or "e-commerce" box. This post explains inTusell’s "Tailored to your business" setup for businesses that fit no preset sector: you describe your business in one sentence and your AI sales assistant is set up around it.
Quick answer
If your business fits none of the preset sectors, pick "Tailored to your business" during setup and describe it in one sentence. inTusell suggests pipeline stages, how to address your customers, a way of working (appointments, orders, quotes or bookings) and custom fields. After sign-up you edit everything in My business › Business information › Industry settings.
What is "Tailored to your business"?
"Tailored to your business" is the open sector option next to inTusell’s list of preset sectors. In a preset sector the tone, pipeline, customer fields and menu come set for that sector. With this option the same settings are derived from a short description of your business.
inTusell is an AI sales assistant and CRM that answers messages on WhatsApp, Instagram and web chat, books appointments and opens orders, and follows each customer through the sales pipeline; it is not a simple chatbot. "Tailored to your business" does not change that engine; it tells the engine about your business.
Who is it for?
- Businesses that cannot find a fitting sector in the preset list
- Businesses that address customers by another word: "client", "student", "member", "guest"
- Businesses that want their own pipeline stages, such as "Discovery call → Quote → Deposit → Delivery"
- Businesses that work with both appointments and orders, in an order of their own
If your business is truly close to a preset sector (a beauty salon to aesthetics, a boutique to Instagram boutiques), choosing that sector gives a richer setup: preset sectors also carry sector-specific objection answers and knowledge blocks.
How it works
- Pick the sector. On the "Company" step of the setup wizard, choose "Tailored to your business" in the "Industry" field.
- Describe your business in one sentence. In the description box, write what you sell or which service you offer. For example: "We offer in-home care and training for pets." If you entered your website, the suggestion can use it too.
- Press "Prepare my suggestion". The suggestion section shows:
| Suggestion | Example | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| Customer word | client / clients | The AI and the panel address your customers by this word |
| Way of working | appointments, orders, quotes or bookings | The room for your daily work in the menu follows it |
| Pipeline stages | New request → Discovery call → Quote → Won / Lost | You track your deals through these stages |
| Custom fields | pet type, address area | The AI collects these from the chat; they show on the contact card |
- Look at the closest preset sector. If your business is very close to a preset sector, a card naming the closest ready-made industry appears. You can also choose to continue with your own setup; the decision is yours and nothing switches on its own.
- Finish sign-up. The suggestion is applied when sign-up is complete. Then you connect WhatsApp with QR; the official WhatsApp line (Cloud API) opens after Meta approval, and today you connect with a QR code or with an 8-character linking code for your phone number.
A suggestion can be requested at most 5 times in 10 minutes. If no suggestion comes back, add a bit more detail (what you sell and how customers find you) or continue without one; you can set things up later.
After sign-up: Industry settings
On My business › Business information, the "Industry settings" card appears only in the "Tailored to your business" sector. There you edit:
- the short description of your business;
- what you call your customer (singular and plural);
- the way of working and what you call an appointment ("session", "meeting", "visit");
- the pipeline stages;
- custom fields (shown on the contact card);
- two messages: the first follow-up to a customer who did not reply, and the sentence added to the reminder one day before an appointment.
"Suggest again from this description" fills the form with a new suggestion but does not save it; after checking, you press save. Only owners and admins can save, and every save is written to the audit log.
Things to watch
| Situation | What happens |
|---|---|
| The pipeline has saved deals | Only stage names and order can change; to add or remove stages you set up a new pipeline in Conversations › Sales Pipeline |
| Number of stages | 2 to 6 open stages; Won and Lost always come last |
| No orders in your way of working | Orders and Store Integrations are hidden in the menu |
| Your way of working starts with orders | The room for your daily work becomes Orders |
| An English conversation | Your follow-up and reminder sentences go out in Turkish conversations; English ones get the standard text |
What it isn’t
- It is not an empty "Other" box. The pipeline, customer word, custom fields and menu are built from your description.
- It is not a separate product. The same AI, inbox, appointment and order engine run.
- It is not a wizard that moves you to another sector on its own. If a close sector exists, it only suggests it.
Frequently asked questions
What should I pick if my business fits none of the preset sectors?
Pick "Tailored to your business" during setup and describe your business in one sentence. inTusell suggests pipeline stages, how to address your customers, a way of working and custom fields; the suggestion is applied when you finish sign-up.
Can I change the suggestion later?
Yes. In the "Industry settings" card on My business › Business information you edit the description, the customer word, the way of working, the booking word, the stages, the custom fields and two messages. Owners and admins can save.
Will inTusell move me to a preset sector on its own?
No. If your business is very close to a preset sector, a card naming the closest ready-made industry appears and both options are shown with equal weight. You decide which way to go; nothing switches on its own.
How many stages can the pipeline have?
You can define 2 to 6 open stages; the Won and Lost stages always come last. While the pipeline has saved deals, only stage names and order can change; to add or remove a stage you set up a new pipeline.
Do I write the follow-up and reminder messages myself?
If you want to. The first follow-up message and the sentence added to the reminder one day before an appointment, written in Industry settings, go out as written in Turkish conversations. If you leave them empty the standard text is used; English conversations also get the standard text.
Is this setup weaker than a preset sector?
The core is the same: the same AI, inbox, pipeline, appointment and order engine. Preset sectors also carry sector-specific objection answers and knowledge blocks; if your business truly fits a preset sector, choosing it gives a richer setup.
