Free WhatsApp AI assistant: what the free plan includes
A free WhatsApp AI assistant: the inTusell free plan gives 50 AI replies a month, 1 WhatsApp line, the inbox and your records. The limits and when to upgrade.

For a small business the first question is often: "Can I try this for free first, and does my account close when the trial ends?" This post walks through inTusell’s free plan for businesses looking for a free WhatsApp AI assistant: what is included, what is not, what happens when the quota runs out and when it is the right moment to move to a paid plan.
Quick answer
A new inTusell account opens with a 14-day free trial, no credit card needed. If you pick no plan, the account does not close; it moves to the Free plan: 50 AI replies a month, 1 WhatsApp line, every channel type, with inbox, contacts, calendar and orders open. Follow-ups, reminders and campaigns run on paid plans.
What is the Free plan?
The Free plan is the small tier your account moves to, without closing, when a trial or a paid period ends. It is not a lock: your data is not deleted, your customers keep writing to you and the AI answers 50 messages a month.
inTusell is an AI sales assistant and CRM that answers messages on WhatsApp, Instagram and web chat, books appointments and opens orders, and follows each customer through the sales pipeline; it is not a simple chatbot. On the Free plan the core of that product stays open, and the automations that message customers on your behalf are switched off.
Who is it for?
- Small shops and one-person businesses that get a few WhatsApp messages a day and want to see the AI at a small volume first
- Businesses that finished the trial and do not want to lose their inbox and records before they decide
- Seasonal businesses that want to keep the account open in quiet months
For a business that gets dozens of messages a day or wants appointment reminders and follow-up messages, the Free plan is not enough; a paid plan is the right start.
Trial, Free plan and paid plans
| 14-day trial | Free plan | Paid plans | |
|---|---|---|---|
| How it starts | With every new sign-up, no credit card | When a trial or paid period ends without a plan | When you pick a plan |
| AI replies | 500 a month | 50 a month | By plan (the smallest, Starter: 500 a month) |
| WhatsApp lines | 1 | 1 (no extra lines) | 1 included, extra lines can be bought |
| Channel types | All | All | All, never charged on any plan |
| Follow-ups, reminders, campaigns | On | Off | On |
| Voice AI minutes | None | None | By plan |
| "Powered by inTusell" line under replies | No | Yes | No |
Paid plans differ only in message quota, voice minutes and storage; every feature is on in every paid plan. Prices are set in US dollars; the Turkish lira amount is shown VAT included at the weekly rate. Current plans are on the pricing page.
What is open on the Free plan?
- Inbox: WhatsApp, Instagram DMs and comments, Telegram and web chat on one screen
- AI replies: 50 messages a month; the AI answers from your knowledge base and does not make up what it does not know
- Contacts and pipeline: customer cards, notes, stages
- Appointment calendar and orders: records keep being written
- Knowledge base: file, website and Instagram profile sources
Three paths are deliberately left open: the first welcome message to someone who fills in your Meta lead form (it counts within the 50 replies), processing the customer’s appointment confirmation reply ("1", "yes", "cancel"), and a promise the AI made in the chat (if it said "I’ll write to you tomorrow", it does).
What is off on the Free plan?
Automations that message customers on their own run on paid plans:
- the follow-up chain (reminders to customers who went quiet)
- appointment reminders and confirmation requests
- the rebooking message after a no-show
- campaigns and scheduled sends
- winning back old customers and birthday messages
- payment reminders from the receivables ledger
While these are off, data is still written: the appointment goes to the calendar and the order to the panel; only the automatic message does not go out. Extra WhatsApp lines and Premium Voice AI cannot be bought on the Free plan.
What happens when the 50 replies run out?
The message quota is a hard limit. You get an email when 80 percent of the quota is used. When it runs out, the AI stops replying for that month and you are notified; there is no surprise overage invoice. Incoming messages are still recorded and you can answer them yourself from the inbox. The quota renews with the new month.
When to move to a paid plan
If one of these is true, the Free plan is no longer carrying your business:
- The quota runs out in the first half of the month.
- Without appointment reminders, the number of no-shows bothers you.
- Nobody gets back to the customer who said "let me think" and vanished; you need the follow-up chain.
- You do not want the "Powered by inTusell" line under your replies.
The moment you pick a plan, the full quota and the automations resume where they left off; your data stays as it is. If you cancel, the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period and the account again does not close; it drops to the Free plan.
What it isn’t
- It is not a plan you buy. A new sign-up always starts with the 14-day trial.
- It is not a trial that expires. The Free plan stays until you pick a plan.
- It is not an unlimited free chatbot. The AI answers 50 messages a month; automations are on paid plans.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use inTusell for free?
Yes. A new account opens with a 14-day free trial and no credit card. If you do not pick a plan when the trial ends, the account is not closed; it moves to the Free plan: 50 AI replies a month, 1 WhatsApp line, and the inbox and records stay open.
What does not work on the Free plan?
Automations that message customers on their own are on paid plans: the follow-up chain, appointment reminders and confirmations, the no-show message, campaigns, win-back, birthday and payment reminders. There is no extra WhatsApp line and no voice AI minutes either.
What happens when the 50 AI replies run out?
The AI stops replying for that month and you are notified; there is no surprise invoice. Incoming messages are still recorded and you can answer them yourself from the inbox. You get an email when 80 percent of the quota is used.
Does the inTusell name show in customer replies on the Free plan?
Yes. On the Free plan a short "Powered by inTusell" line ("inTusell ile" in Turkish conversations) appears under the AI’s sales replies. Service notices such as receipt received, order status or payment details do not carry it. Paid plans have no such line.
Do I keep my data when I move from the Free plan to a paid plan?
Yes. Nothing is deleted when the account moves to the Free plan; the moment you pick a plan, the full quota and the automations resume where they left off. Conversations, contacts, appointments and orders stay as they are.
Is the Free plan a plan you can buy?
No. The Free plan is not sold; it is the small tier an account moves to, without closing, when a trial or paid period ends. A new sign-up always starts with the 14-day trial.
Next step
Connect your WhatsApp with QR, upload a few documents to the knowledge base and see how the AI answers your first customer messages during the 14-day trial. The official WhatsApp line (Cloud API) opens after Meta approval; today you connect with a QR code or with an 8-character linking code for your phone number and your number stays the same.
